Wine Q offers 3 levels of wine knowledge to choose from. Simply choose a topic from any of our 3 levels and WineQ will bring you 6 wines to taste and learn about. Our 3 levels are:

‘Light and Lively’ for Beginner

‘Medium and Mellow’ for the Intermediate

‘Rich and Riveting’ for the Advanced


Wine Q 101: "Light and Lively"

1. Introduction to the Wondrous World of Wine

- Experience a flight of six varietal wines from the new world and learn the basic profiles of the noble varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah/Shiraz, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay)

WineQ’s educator, Robert Broerse, studied with Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). Robert has ten years of experience in the wine, food and restaurant industry as well as extensive experience providing wine education seminars in partnership with British Columbia’s largest wine store – Everything Wine.

Robert continues to broaden his knowledge of wine through his research of the historical, cultural, philosophical and sensory attributes of wine.
